Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery

Located on picturesque countryside in western Onondaga County, the Hatchery was originally developed and operated as a joint venture between Onondaga County and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service under a Works Project Administration Grant. One of only four county run hatcheries in the state, this has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1938 and produces 70,000+ Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout annually. Staff and volunteers take great pride in stocking over 100 miles of streams and 10,000 acres of impoundments with 100% of the D.E.C. recommendations for these waters.

Carroll County Arts Council

Carroll County Arts Council is a theater holding 263 seats in downtown Westminster, Maryland. The theater offers yoga and theater classes for adults and children. Their shows they work on are open for public viewing. They also hold many special events including the PEEPS Show around Easter time, where they hold a contest of the best artwork made out of PEEPS. The building does not have a designated parking area, however there is public parking with accessible parking spaces across the street about 50 feet away from the main entrance. The building has been approved through ADA being accessible, however on the entrance doors there is nothing showing the building is accessible. The doors are not automatic and the amount of force opening the door is heavy. There is an unobstructed pathway to get to the theater, the box office/main desk, and the elevator to get to the second floor. The theater has many transfer or accessible seats throughout the 263 seats it holds, there is also a wheelchair lift to get onto the stage. The agency offers assisted listening devices when attending a show they hold. The language staff uses is inclusive, they speak about ways to ensure inclusion at monthly staff meetings along with reading their inclusive handbooks they must have as a staff member. They are happy to answer and include individuals in the planning process for inclusion.

According to the agency website: "The Carters Pond Wildlife Management Area is located along County Route 338 in the Town of Greenwich, Washington County. The 446.5 acre management area was dedicated to Philip A. Dustin, an avid conservationist and charter member of the Waterfowl Improvement Association. The Association, a group of sportsmen, encouraged New York's acquisition of Carters Pond as a waterfowl management area.

Directly behind Falcon Park, home of the Auburn Doubledays, Casey offers swimming, baseball/softball, basketball, and tennis in the summer months, as well as ice skating in the winter. A trail connects the outdoor sport fields and offers a great opportunity for a leisurely stroll to enjoy nature. There are designated picnic areas which provide for an enjoyable area to eat a meal, or just relax. Cassadaga Lake (DEC)

According to the agency website: Cassadaga Lake is located in northern Chautauqua County. Three interconnected lakes make up the lake and is the headwaters of Cassadaga Creek. Public boat launching and fishing access is provided at a DEC operated site located at the north end of Middle Cassadaga Lake, on Glasgow Road. The facility has a hard surface ramp and parking for 20 cars and trailers. Cassadaga Lake has an accessible fishing platform at the boat launch site on Middle Lake.

Casterline Pond (DEC)

Casterline Pond is a fishing access point owned by the DEC. The fishing pier and adjacent portable toilet are both wheelchair accessible. The pond is stocked annually with Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Casterline Pond is located on Route 11 in Homer, next to the Morton Building Company.

According to the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum website, the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to preserving America's fly fishing heritage; teaching its future generations of fly fishers; and protecting its fly fishing environment. The mission is carried out by operating a museum, an education center and, in the near future, an environmental research center. The Center and Museum collects, cares for, initerprets, and displays angling equipment, art, and artifacts in a way that explains the traditions and techniques of fly fishing. It conducts educational programs in river ecology, angling history and streamcraft, including fishing etiquette, fly tying, fly casting, aquatic entomology, and stream improvement.

the Catskills Outdoor Education Center is located 2 miles south of Delhi, NY and is affiliated with SUNY Delhi. There are a variety of oudoor activities that visitors can take part in, including walking, hiking, jogging, wildlife viewing, fishing, photography and more. There is also a butterfly garden and a labyrinth that visitors can wolk through. There are programs offered through the Center (e.g., maple sugaring in the fall). Caumsett State Historic Park

According to the agency website: Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, situated on a scenic peninsula extending into Long Island Sound, offers miles of bridle paths, walking, jogging, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and nature trails over acres of woodland, meadows, rock shoreline and salt marsh. The park has beautiful gardens, excellent fishing and scuba diving by permit. In 1921 Marshall Field III purchased 1750 acres of Lloyd Neck to create one large estate. He named the land after its Matinecock Indian name, Caumsett, which means "place by a sharp rock."
