This boat launch is located on black lake in St. Lawrence County. The boat launch has a hard surface boat ramp with a pier for docking boats as well as a parking lot that can accommodate up 55 cars.

Black Pond is open to the public year round. Public use of the Black Pond WMA includes wildlife observation, bird watching, hunting, fishing and trapping. A viewing platform along the Black Pond trail provides good opportunity to view wetland wildlife, waterfowl and migratory birds. In addition to wetland bird, waterfowl and shorebird resources/viewing opportunities, white-tailed deer, cottontail rabbit and ruffed grouse are found on the upland portions of the area.

The staff and General Manager are very pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful in assisting people with navigating through the gym. The General Manager personally escorts and provides assistance to members who have disabilities, in navigating from equipment to equipment and the restroom located on the lower level that is accessible through an elevator. The equipment at the gym can easily be modified and usable to individuals with disabilities/illnesses. The gym is well-lit, bright and very spacious. The machines and equipment are placed with enough room that a person with a wheelchair and/or motorized chair can maneuver around easily. The gym hours are flexible, Monday thru Friday the hours of operation are from 5am-11pm and on Saturday and Sunday the hours are from 7am to 7pm.

The Boston School Forest is an 80-acre property that was donated by Mr. Harry D. Boston in 1937. Between the years of 1937 and 1958, over 111,000 trees were planted by school children transforming this once agricultural land to a secondary forest that would be used by generations of Stevens Point students. Elementary educational programming began when the District hired the first school forest coordinator in 1983. Over the next 20 years, the educational lodges and residential cabins were built and a Forest Management Plan was developed.

According to the Agency Website: The Braddock Bay Fish and Wildlife Management Area is a shallow water bay-marsh complex existing in five units along the Lake Ontario shoreline ranging from two to six miles west of Rochester. Going westerly from Rochester, these units include Buck Pond, Long Pond, Cranberry Pond, Braddock Bay and Rose Marsh. All of these ponds except Braddock Bay, are connected to the lake by intermittent channels, which plug and open up as lake currents and wave action change the character of the gravel and sand barrier bars.
