Summary

At the RMSC’s Strasenburgh Planetarium, visitors can immerse themselves in a world of wonder and excitement as they’re guided through the universe from the comfort of the Star Theater. Visitors can travel to the farthest reaches of outer space, peer inside at the tiniest atoms that make up our own bodies, be dazzled by stunning laser light shows, and experience the starry night sky closer than ever before. The Planetarium has been inspiring, exciting, and astonishing visitors since it opened in 1968. Since then, RMSC Planetarium staff continue to make improvements to the visitor experience, including moveable seats in the theater to allow for spatial needs.
