• The lift can be accessed by asking a lifeguard to uncover it for you and attach the battery. The guard will then use a remote and verbal cues to lower the lift into the water.

  • The entrance can be seen tucked in the corner where the pool meets the elementary school.

  • There is a sufficient amount of space between the two entrance doors.

  • The accessible parking is located directly next to the entrance.

  • Women's bathroom stalls. Left hand side is accessible (with grab bars).

  • The entrance has a series of doors. Upon entering the first set, the attendee will be facing a set of glass doors. Both sets may be propped open.

  • This is the chair lift.

  • This is the set of stairs used to enter the pool. The edges are marked with bright yellow and black textured tape. The tape is grainy and allows for traction on the steps so that patrons will not slip.

  • There is one accessible parking space marked by a single, mounted sign. The space is directly next to the entrance and has a wide isle that can be utilized.

  • There is some signage at the facility, but it is not extensive.

  • This is the pool upon entering from the locker rooms. Notice on the right hand side that there is a thick black line running up the wall. The line is an accurate representation of the depth of the pool at any given point. individuals can stand next to it to determine where they can touch safely before actually entering the water if desired.

  • There is a diving board area. Typically, only the diving board may be used and the blocks are reserved for swim team use only. The board is textured to prevent slipping.

  • This is the Elk Lake Aquatic Center and the main parking lot that serves it.

  • Men's bathroom stall

  • This is the entrance from the parking lot. Typically, the two doors on the left are unlocked during pool events.

  • The locker rooms are located side by side and each have their own bathroom stalls within.
