The agency is working on becoming more accessible. Many of the older recreation centers at the agency were built from measurements they thought were acceptable. When asked about practices they plan to change regarding proper accessibility within the upcoming year, I was informed that a budget is in place for universal accessibility at all recreation centers in the county. They have been surveyed and are currently undergoing plans to make there facilitates more accessible.
In regards to employee training, the manager mentioned that staff who work closely with those with special limitations undergo a training course before hire.
