The needs assessment is done via a conversation with the Inclusion Coordinator.

If yes, describe quiet area:
There is a quiet room at the library but it is open to the public. Staff may provide quiet corner in room activity takes place and children are welcome to bring their own sensory items. At camps staff will take campers to quiet area as needed. The library is undergoing some remodeling of the children's library and this will include accommodations for a sensory / quiet space.

If available, extra staff or volunteers may be obtained to assist as needed. Advanced notice will allow staff to accommodate needs better.

Social time happens organically with kid's programs. There is designated social time during teen programs.

Library staff are working to make the programs at the library accessible and inclusive. The more they are aware of your needs the better able they are to make accommodations. They welcome input from patrons.
