The M3 Bus is accessible by wheelchair and stops right in front of the park entrance at St. Nicholas Ave. and W. 135 St. The B and C subway line stops right next to St. Nicholas Ave and W. 135 St. entrance, but it is not accessible by wheelchair. For the closest subway stop accessible by wheelchair, take the 2 or 3 subways, get off at Malcom X and W. 135 St. and go .4 miles on wheelchair accessible sidewalks to St. Nicholas Park.

There is a steady flow of traffic and a bike lane right next to the street parking. The street parking is free and open to the public except on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30 am to 1 pm and on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 10:30 am. For additional parking, go to The Rennie Parking Garage on 179 W. 137 St. It is open 24/7 and it is .4 miles from St. Nicholas Park.

The bathroom door is typically open at all times. When the door is open it blocks the hand dryer. The bathroom sign is in multiple languages and pictorial. The sign does not have braille, is in small lettering, and parts are covered by spray paint.
