Southwest Special Recreation Association's (SWSRA) facility is located inside of the Apollo Recreation Center. SWSRA is an organization dedicated to providing recreation to individuals with disabilities. SWSRA is a part of Alsip's eight park districts, and many programs/events are held at different facilities in the districts. Other programs/events are held inside of the Apollo Recreation Center, using their amenities. Private agency transportation to other recreation facilities is provided through SWSRA. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SWSRA's office is closed and its usual programs are not running this summer. The measurements I have provided are the areas that are accessible to the public as of right now. As restrictions ease, a more in-depth assessment will be done to the additional amenities/facilities SWSRA uses inside/outside the Apollo Center.
