The Marcellus Free Library makes accessible to the community its facilities and its print and non-print materials for recreation, information, and education, while actively promoting appreciation of books and learning. A particular emphasis is placed on encouraging the interests of young people through library programs, services and materials.
Located in the Village of Marcellus beside the Upper Crown Mill Development at the corner of Orange and Maple Streets, our eco-friendly library has a collection of approximately 30,000 items, including a unique collection of choral music, for loan; a fax machine; eight public use Internet computers; five tablets and five laptops for public use; a color printer; a color photocopier; two tutoring rooms; and a self-service coffee/hot cocoa bar. Upstairs, we are proud to offer the "Friends" Community Room which is available free of charge to non-profit groups in the community. Our children's area is warm and inviting.
