Additional parking lot is available across the street. There are no accessible spaces located in the additional lot but the route of travel from the additional lot is flat and unobstructed to the entrance. From the main parking lot, there is a 10% slope from the curb cut that leads to the sidewalk. The sidewalk measured at a 4% slope incline toward the main entrance and then declined at a 2% slope.

To gain entry to the library, you may enter from the sidewalk using the stairs or a brick pathway with a 2% decline slope toward the building. The doors can be opened by pulling the handle outward or by using the automatic door button on the left side of the entrance. The entrance is a double door with no obstruction between the doors. Once you enter the front door, there is a bathroom and elevator located immediately to the left and a stairway to the right to access the second floor community room. You must go through another set of doors to enter the main library space.

The main female bathroom is located to the left immediately after entering the main entrance. The door does not have an automatic button to open the door. The door must be pushed inward to enter. When exiting, the door must be pulled open which requires 7 pounds of force. Once in the bathroom, the accessible stall is located at the end of a series of stalls. There is a narrow space for travel between a diaper changing station and the first stall equaling 31 inches. The accessible stall door opens outward. There is open space to maneuver a wheelchair within the stall but does not equal 60" or more for a full turn radius. The sink is mounted to the wall with knee space underneath. The sink water is controlled with an up-down side to side lever that can be operated without a grip. The soap dispenser is mounted on the wall beside the sink and it is operated by a push button. The depth of the counter from the edge of the sink to the soap dispenser measures 20 inches. The paper towel dispenser is located to the left of the sink and is mounted to the wall. It requires the user to pull the paper towels down out of the dispenser.

The elevator is located to the left after entering through the main entrance of the library. The button panel is located of the right side of the elevator. The lettering is raised and Braille is present. When the elevator button is pushed, it lights up. As the door opens and closes, there is a bell that rings. All buttons inside the elevator are raised.
