The club currently does not have a training for working with people with disabilities for their employees. If the disability of person is relevant to the situation, the staff members will be briefed and activities modified (if need be) to ensure Ocean Reef meets the customer's needs and maintains satisfaction. The club is open to reviewing inclusive practices and including them in staff trainings but currently has no programs implemented.

Ocean Reef Club began in 1948 and a portion of the members they serve are elderly. The club is continuously growing and with these new properties under construction, accessibility is kept in mind when building. Member satisfaction is a top priority and ensuring buildings are easy to access for all people is important.

The Community Grants Program awards funding to dozens of worthy charities in the areas of Education, Youth, Health & Family Services and Community at Ocean Reef and in Homestead, Florida City and the Upper Keys each spring. Including 2016 grants, the program will have awarded more than $5.1 million since the All Charities effort began in 2008."
