This facility has six specialized evaluation/analysis/treatment areas/rooms that are important to feature as follows: (descriptive pictures of each one listed below are included in this assessment).
1. Fit Light System (located in the main gym area): A light system designed to improve physical and cognitive agility. An I-Pad is used with a number of apps, in conjunction with Agility Dot Training for cognitive reaction time, working memory and physical fitness training. This facility is pioneering new technology for their Fit Light System, and has been given $15,000 worth of equipment from the manufacturing companies to develop prototypes using this state-of-the-art technology.
2. Interactive Metronome and Video Analysis Work Station: also uses the Fit Light System and motion view, a high-speed video coaching system.
3. Intervention and Evaluation Room 1:utilizes Interactive Metronome, Neuro-Timing coordination, attention and concentration interventions.
4. Intervention and Evaluation Room 2: featuring the Finch Wheel, a ball throwing trainer.
5. Pneu-Weight: an unweighted system designed to prevent falls and perform dynamic standing and functional ambulation activities. This equipment uses high-speed cameras for video and bio-mechanic analysis.
6. Tyromotion: wearable technology for movement analysis and therapy. This is used with the Pablo System, to teach the participants how to control their body in various movement patterns (motor learning applications).
This agency also offers a paddle boarding program during the summer months.
