The Springport Free Library is part of the Finger Lakes Library System, serving the villages of Cayuga and Union Springs. The library is located in an historic building, which has been redesigned to improve physical accessibility. The library serves as a major hub of socialization in the village and is actively used by the school district, local citizens, and a large group of summer residents who live at two local marinas in June, July, and August. Springport Free Library serves as a source of informational resources and a community center.
