Staff is trained in NYS Training sessions on issues such as use of language, inclusive physical plant of the library, how to work with patrons with a variety of different abilities, etc.

There are two staff members, both of whom are well known to the patrons and who are helpful and available to assist.

Library staff can connect patrons to a “Books by Mail” service (Mail-It) if requested.
The Area of Rescue is in the basement of the library and the local volunteer fire department is aware of this area of the building in the event of an emergency.

The director will add an accessibility/inclusion question to the library’s current evaluation.
