The Dutchess County Mass Transit Systems LOOP Bus, Dial-a-Ride, and Paratransit transport use to service the area, but have cut back on services, no longer including Millerton on the Route. Contact Dutchess County Mass Transit to indicate there is a need. Other than private taxi, or privately owned car, there are no other means of public transport at this time.

Rear parking lot is contains 4 parking spaces that are not designated with accessible signage. At this point in time, the rear entrance is not accessible unless a staff member or someone accompanying you opens the door. It is recommended to park in front. If you do park in rear and use the front entrance (where the accessible ramp is located) you will need to navigate over the sloped asphalt parking area to a cobble stone driveway (uneven and slightly sloped) to the get to the accessible ramp.

Entry to bathroom hallway is 29 inches wide. Hallway width is very narrow and does not provide clear turning radius. Overall the bathroom is tight for space. The library is planning on completing renovations in the near future.
