Trainings in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention are held and required every 6 months for staff on campus. This covers effective techniques to help ensure promote a therapeutic environment as most of the youth on campus have a cognitive or psychological impairment/ disability. There is a variety of inclusion courses that further education and awareness in many areas to become a more inclusive space, like cultural competency courses.
Comments/additional information about agency staff:
Staff and superiors are constantly looking for ways to create more inclusive spaces and opportunities for youth who have a disability. Staff and supervisors are hands on with the youth and maintain good relationships with the youth. Upper management will advocate for youth opportunity and inclusion.

Youth who have disabilities are a part of advisory boards to help create and innovate new ideas and programs for the campus. Advisory boards are held on a monthly basis.
