Summary

According to the agency website:

Birdseye Hollow Park - located next to Birdseye Hollow Pond, is owned and managed by Steuben County, Department of Public Works (leaves DEC website). It features a paved parking area, paved path to a picnic pavilion, several fixed charcoal grills and picnic tables, playground, benches, a floating fishing pier, and a vault toilet (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Of note, we removed the portable toilets and installed a permanent, ADA-approved, vault-style toilet this year (2020). No trash pick-up is provided. Like most state lands, this is a carry in-carry out facility.

Per assessor: This site is a good place for accessible fishing and enjoying a walk on the paved path that leads to it. Views are nice and there is wildlife to observe. There is a basic playground, areas for picnicking and a picnic shelter. A family style composting toilet is available during the summer months.
