Comments

This area is owned and operated bt Steuben County. The way the shelter was set up when assessing, there was a picnic table blocking the entry where the concrete path met the shelter floor space. Tables were movable so it is hard to control where they are placed. Staff moved the table. There are some open end tables outside the shelter on the grass but none inside the shelter. There was a grill 96" from shelter in the grass with control handles and cooking surfaces that could be adjusted between 29" and 35". The path up to the shelter was steep and had cracks and crumbled areas. There was a stone path that a car could drive up to drop off at the shelter.
