This is a pretty area with access to fishing and picnicing. The platform does have some uneven spots but does have four spaces with lower rails. Just be watchful for cracks and uneveness in the surface. The picnic are is in a grassy field with views of the water and the day we visited there was a pleasant breeze that came from the lake.
