Notes about physical inclusion

Any additional information about physical accessibility you feel would be helpful to people with disabilities and their families
Some of the buildings are more accessible than others but staff are very accommodating. With advanced notice, they can bring many of the exhibit items from upstairs downstairs for viewing or can to a Facetime type tour of the upper levels. Tours are interactive and guests may touch many of the exhibits. Staff uses sight, sound and smell to enhance the tours. With advanced notice, a sign language interpreter may be available. The museums are old and have uneven wood floors. Staff tries to keep aisles wide enough to accommodate people using assistive devices and wheelchairs. They also have seating scattered around museum areas..
