Oak Grove park is a 180-acre park that utilizes its abundant space to provide a multitude of activities for the surrounding community. The parks allows groups to attend for a discounted rate, they do not charge those that come to assist, and the size of the park allows for inclusion but also separation, if necessary. Like almost everywhere else in California, the park was shut down for the better part of 2020 and, even with reopening, almost all of the listed activities are unavailable until our county moves to a lower tier. But when the park is fully functioning, it is a great place to recreate. Oak Grove allows for true inclusivity by giving everyone that chooses to participate the ability to be autonomous, choosing when they want to start or stop the activity of their choosing.
