The manager of the library was very helpful and allowed me to come in for an interview and to make measurements even with the library closed to patrons due to COVID-19. She is very receptive to making improvements to make the library more accessible and to support all participants.

The staff is trained on emergency evacuation for children with disabilities but not adults. The programs offered at the library are public and of no cost. The library is very accommodating to dietary needs and allergies and is a peanut free facility.

The Rec-Center is located behind the library building the Rochester City School #12 is attached to the building. The Rochester Childfirst Network is a daycare/pre-school that is next door. The library collaborates with the agencies on a regular basis.

The staff is very supportive to children with special needs and works closely with teachers and administrators in the City School district to assist with learning goals.
