The South Bay Community Center is a wonderful place for community members to rent for a private celebration or to attend a community event. The facility has a 6000 square foot main room with a maximum capacity of 472 people that includes a 900 square foot stage equipped with a mechanical ramp for wheel chair access. It has a full kitchen with new ovens, new counters and new refrigeration as well as a small conference room. The 3300 square feet of assembly space can be separated in to two spaces by a moveable door and rented out separately. The SBCC is owned by the community and run by a volunteer Board of Directors and completely funded on rental income and donations. It is located in the heart of Los Osos and shares the property with the Los Osos Skate Park, Tennis Courts, a playground and two other smaller venues that are for rent through the County Of San Luis Obispo. There are unobstructed continuous routes from the parking lot to each building and park.
Community Center
The space is able to be rented for private use or to hold classes or group meetings. There are Folk Dancing and Tai Chi classes and a Quilting group that meet regularly.
