ARISE is a non-profit community- based organization and an independent living center that promotes full inclusion for individuals with a disability in a community setting. ARISE's mission is to work with people of all abilities to create a fair and just community in which everyone can fully participate. ARISE offers many different programs including recreation programs such as the ARISE After-School Respite Program for all children enrolled in school between the ages of 5-15 years. The After-School Programs provides art and crafts, dog therapy, sensory-based programming, and recreational activities.
