Schmeeckle Reserve is a field station of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point used as an outdoor classroom. The nature reserve offers recreational trails, pavilions, and a visitor center with museum and gift shop. Public programs are provided throughout the year including hour long interpretive programs and community candlelight hike events held biannually. The Green Circle Trail travels through the reserve.
