The Princess Anne Community Recreation Center is an 82,000 square foot multi-faceted recreational space, located adjacent to Strawbridge Elementary School and Princess Anne Area Library. The facility is single story with an accessible route of travel from the main parking lot to the front desk. A membership or day pass is needed to participate in most activities. The facility offers all the great benefits of a gym plus access to a wide variety of amenities and activities. This includes: state of the art cardio equipment, circuit training, and free weights, group fitness classes and personal training, an indoor pool complete with lap lanes, diving board, ADA lift, accessible pool ramp and submersible wheel chair, locker rooms, showers, and four assisted care changing areas adjacent to the pool, a multipurpose gymnasium, racquetball courts, a youth game room which includes an indoor play structure, adult billiards, table tennis, and meeting spaces. The center offers drop in child care, a licensed early childhood program serving 3-5 yr. olds, an afterschool program for grades K-5, and a variety of summer day camps. A senior center is available two days a week for individuals 55 yrs. of age and older. Reduced pricing options available for residents who qualify.
