Comments/additional information about agency policies and procedures:

People with disabilities are able to bowl at a discounted price and do not pay for rental shoes. Their caregivers are also provided with these discounts. Though there are no written policies about the use of service animals and motorized mobility devices, accommodations can be made for those requiring these services. Accommodations can also be made for people with dietary needs. If the bowling alley staff are not able to make the accommodations, people with dietary needs are encouraged to bring in their own food that can be prepared at the facility for them.

Other agencies, such as the Center for Disability Services, has supervisors come in to evaluate the facility and staff interactions. However, they simply observe and do not provide feedback to the bowling alley staff members.

The East Greenbush Bowling Alley works with many other agencies to provide services including leagues and competitions for people of all abilities.
