The agency is inclusive however each facility relies on funding and grants in order to make the facility more inclusive and up to date. Though there is an inclusive attitude at the agency, not all facilities are on the same level of inclusivity due to funding or the lack thereof.

Last Spring, Ms. Dattner collaborated with the USTA and was able to offer Wheelchair Tennis to YMCA members. The Cross Island YMCA would like to offer this program on an ongoing basis. Staff receives annual training and updates about ADA.
