Summary

The Rose Theater is a performing arts center for children and their families. It offers a wide range of theatrical performances that target children specifically and encourage audience participation. The Rose also offers classes and camps for children and teenagers to learn about performing arts. Some programs are provided specifically to individuals with disabilities, helping them to "spark creativity, self-confidence, social interaction, and positive self-esteem." Workshops are also available to explore themes from performances and to learn about the profession of theater.

There are many accommodations available at the Rose so that individuals of all abilities can enjoy everything it has to offer. Supports include financial accommodations, Autism-friendly performance, assisted listening devices, large-print programs, touch tours, accessible seating, and sign language interpreters. There are up to ten accessible parking spaces right outside the front doors of the theater and an elevator to access all levels of the building.
