According to the agency website: Spicer Creek WMA is located along East River Road in the Town of Grand Island in Erie County. The parcel includes rights to a portion of the Niagara River bed along 1600 feet of its shoreline. The area is primarily made up of wetland habitat. Users of the area are likely to encounter a variety of wildlife species. The more common species are beaver, muskrat, rabbit, mink, raccoon, fox, a variety of waterfowl and shorebirds, birds of prey, amphibians and reptiles and a variety of song birds.
