According to the website, “The mission of the Saratoga Springs Public Library is to inform, to inspire, and to entertain. It must provide access to the universe of knowledge through a variety of materials, programs, and services. As a publicly supported institution, the library should make primary services available without charge.”
The library provides an array of programs and services. In addition to the lending of library materials, the facility offers a book store, cafe, program and meeting spaces and a child play area. There is a teen room that provides space for programs as well as video games. Many programs are available for all ages, including reading programs, story time, parenting programs, computer classes, language classes, concerts, history programs, travel programs, book discussions, author visits, and many more.
