Beaver Lake Nature Center offers 650 acres land, including walking trails, a lake and an interpretive nature center. The center is open daily from 7:30am until dusk (or call for closing time). There is a $2 cost per vehicle and $15 for buses. A membership can be purchased for $24. Activities at the center include walking, snowshoeing, nature viewing, and special events and programs that are offered throughout the year. At this time, the boardwalk trail system is being updated with a possibility of adding a toe rail onto the stystem.

Its winding trails are to be enjoyed in all seasons. The 200 acre glacial lake is a migratory stop for thousands of Canada geese that migrate through, as well as an opportunity for summertime exploration by canoe.

Through membership, an opportunity exists for you to become part of Beaver Lake. The Friends of Beaver Lake strive to make the Beaver Lake experience complete. Since 1980 the Friends of Beaver Lake Nature Center have provided essential financial and volunteer support to the Nature Center, ensuring the best possible experience for each visitor.
