Many people use the library who have challenges with physical, developmental, and mental health. All are welcomed and appreciated.

There has not been specific, deliberate planning with regards to inclusion however, they do keep in mind their community. They always have a sign language interpreter when a specific patron is attending board meetings, and staff have children with various needs so are aware of the needs regarding others in the community.

The library is open to the idea of more intentional planning going forward. There are four trustee seats coming up for a vote in the spring, with trustees resigning after 10 years of service. This will open up new possibilities.

The current website is undergoing a redesign and should be done by the end of 2024. There was a complete ADA audit of the current website.

Motorized mobility devices are welcome. There are also bilingual social workers on site twice a month.

There are multiple languages reflected in the programming at the library, including Spanish and Arabic. Holidays are also given attention in a multicultural fashion.
