Comments

This mostly open to the sun trail is a mowed path that cuts through the property providing access to other trails. it has gentle slopes throughout of 0-6%. The grass is mowed about every 3 weeks during the growing season. The meadow was recently mowed this summer. It gets mowed approximately every 3 years. The trail itself does have some areas that are concave due to use ware. There is a bench located at the .2 mile mark near the pond that is 16" high and has arms. It is at this point you might begin to hear the waves rolling in mingles with the area bird calls. This is a great destination in itself for birding and/or relaxing in a natural setting. At the pond you may take a more rustic trail around the pond or stay on the Cass Meadow trail to the end. Either way you will end up at the same place with views of Lake Ontario and access to additional trails. Leashed dogs are allowed on this trail.
