Registration and needs assessment
Comments/additional information about registration and needs assessment:
Staff will talk through an event or activity with a person over the phone or email prior to the event as needed. They will work to make the experience as positive as possible.
Supports available
If yes, describe quiet area:
There are places along trails where people can sit and relax. If someone needs to retreat to a quieter space, they may distance themselves from the group a bit. Tours and hikes are generally quiet in general as they are listening for birds and other sounds of nature. Big events such as Bridging Communities did have a quiet sensory area with tent and sensory objects.
