Social Connections is staffed by Mental Health Peers. They are employed through a partnering agency, Capabilities, and receive their trainings through that agency.
Comments/additional information about agency staff:
There are staff at Social Connections who have disabilities and all staff are very aware of accessibility and were very helpful and interested during the assessment. They are capable and willing to assist individuals with their needs in order to access services. While there is not a designated point of contact, the facilitator of the Social Connections program is a CTRS.

Social Connections is staffed by Mental Health Peers who have input in all programs that are offered. Member meetings are also held, and staff work to gather suggestions and ideas from members on an ongoing basis.
