Summary
Over the years the parks department has grown with the addition of Clayton Community Park, All-Star Park, and East Clayton Community and Dog Park. In 2010, the Clayton Community Center opened as a new home for the department complete with an indoor walking trail, pottery and art room, and basketball court. The Recreation Department is responsible for miles of paved greenway throughout town, baseball, softball, and soccer fields, picnic shelters, and more. Clayton Parks and Recreation hosts youth and adult athletic leagues, Summer Camps, fitness, art and pottery classes, and more.
