Currently, Irondequoit Parks and Recreation is partnering with Rochester Accessible Adventures to enhance accessibility and inclusion at the pickleball and tennis courts to increase usability for people of all ability levels. The agency, along with RAA, would like to update the parking, add firm and stable routes of travel to the playground and courts, as well as add accessible participant and spectator seating. This partnership has the potential to bring many more faces to Spezio Park to play inclusively alongside one-another.
