Summary
Richard Ray All-American Park is located in what is commonly referred to locally as "the commons" just off the Western Blvd extension. It is a nice park to stroll around and enjoy views of nature. Today the park offers a variety of amenities including the City’s first Meditation Labyrinth, an Amphitheater, two picnic shelters, and a playground carved in the shape of North Carolina. A good portion of the site includes the Gardens of the States with horticultural examples from seven regions of the United States. Pathways define the regions and kiosks are located along the path for educational purposes. The pathway to the picnic shelter is long but the playground and restrooms are close to the parking lot.
