Summary

Located in the Village and Town of Dryden, New York, Jim Schug Trail is an easy trail. The trail is about 4.2 miles long one way so on a nice day there and back is about 8.2 miles total. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, skiing, running,picnicking, and wildlife viewing are common activities. Restrooms are available.
The trail is basically flat and has uniform bridges along the trail except in the beginning. The steepest parts of the trail are crossing the roads, you cross the roads multiple times and all spots have crosswalks, and one even has an electronic cross walk sign to alert traffic on the busier road.
