Summary

The Marcelle Athletic Complex, or "the MAC," opened in 1992 and continues to be the hot place to be on campus. Siena students work out on exercise equipment, join aerobics classes, swim in the pool, jog on the elevated track, play racquetball, squash, basketball, volleyball or take part in one of the many intramural activities.

MAC is the athletic building for Siena College and the students and faculty of the school, though community members may join. The athletic complex has a fitness center, three recreation multi-purpose basketball courts, swimming pool, aerobics room, a basketball gym for varsity women's basketball and volleyball, and an athletes-only fitness center and training room. If you or someone has a disability, the MAC is easy to maneuver around for any need. Groups like "Wildwood" use the facility on a weekly basis. Siena college is an inclusive school that follows the Franciscan beliefs which provides equal and respected treatment with any and all.
