As described by the agency, their mission is simply to provide health and well being to persons of all abilities in an inclusive environment. Their vision & goals are to create more community partnerships to provide programs for seniors and individuals with special needs. Their values are to have a sense of community, such as staff knowing clients names and for individuals to work out together.

Healthy U Studios formed a division called Certified Fitness for Special Needs. This division offers customized fitness programs for children and adults of all ages with special challenges such as a developmental disabilities that may include: Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and Downs Syndrome, and medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, scoliosis, MS, stroke and spina bifida. Additionally, they work with outside agencies and send their certified trainers to run various fitness groups at different locations for both children and adults.

This agency provides programs in the community such as: wheelchair fitness at a group home, fitness and dance for youth/teens with disabilities for a Somerset County recreation department, fitness programs at an Arc day program, and more. They are very open and willing to provide services outside of their fitness center.

The staff at Healthy U have various fitness certifications. They are kind, compassionate, and direct in all of their encounters with clients. They typically have a meet and greet with individuals with special needs prior to starting a fitness program, so they can be best prepared regarding the individuals needs and abilities.
