Notes about physical inclusion

Any additional information about physical accessibility you feel would be helpful to people with disabilities and their families
Bardwell Lake was built in 1965 for flood control. This park is run by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Excessive North Texas rains in 2015 caused damage to some park items such as the Courtesy Dock located near the boat ramps. The Courtesy Dock was destroyed and will be replaced with a new one that is ADA compliant. The Bardwell Lake Manager is very supportive in making the park more accessible to all visitors.
