Campsite Picnic Area
Comments about campsite’s picnic area:
The concrete picnic tables are located on concrete pads. They vary in the amount of step-up needed from the ground to the concrete pad depending on soil erosion. A couple are almost even with the ground, one was built up with wood chips and a couple have erosion causing the concrete pad to be about a 3-5" step-up from the ground. There is not 60" of clearance around the table without going off the concrete pad.
Campsite Cooking Surfaces and Grills
Describe surface beneath the grill or cooking surface:
grass/solid ground
Comments about grills and cooking surfaces:
Most sites have a grill above ground and another fire ring/grill in the ground. It is located off the picnic table cement pad so there is ample room around the cooking surfaces.
Campsite Fire Rings
Describe the surface of the route of travel:
grass/solid ground from picnic table platform
Comments/additional information regarding campsite fire ring
Each campsite differs a little, but several photos are included in the assessment.
Comments
Campsites have 30 or 50 AMPs available. Specific measurements on slopes, grills, water spigots and electrical outlets will vary slightly depending on the site. Lighting at the campsites vary depending on where they are located, but there does not appear to be standard available lighting already installed at each site. There is a dump station near the park entrance.
