Victor Calise, Commissioner of the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, was an advocate and head of accessible design of the Chelsea Recreation Center. It was his personal mission to make Chelsea Rec Center inclusive for all users in the community. He worked directly in the Center for many years and has since been promoted to the Commissioner of the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities.
