The Commack Public Library is dedicated to providing the community with quality library services to fulfill the informational, educational, cultural, professional and recreational needs of patrons of all ages, by providing traditional, current and popular materials, knowledgeable reference service, and innovative programs in an open and friendly environment.
has began the process of planning for renovation to better meet the needs of all library visitors. There has been a proposed renovation that will take place in the Fall of 2016 and conclude approximately one year later. The library will offer new and expanded services such as a separate children's room to provide an environment for children and families, large meeting room for programs/community groups, quiet rooms, more leisure reading space, overhead ceiling mounting projector and new audio/visual equipment for use with visual presentations, educational and music programs, movies, with assistive listening devices and much more!
