The Oriskany Falls are visible from the Cassety Street bridge as the creek cascades down a series of small steps. The platform sits below the bridge, high above the creek, over a second falls, man-made, about 6-feet high. This portion of the creek is not stocked by DEC but fishing is possible below the falls. The fishing platform is labeled as the "Hinman Memorial Fishing Access Site". This site is served by municipal designated parking. There is no port-a-john at this location. Directions: From Route 12B, turn right onto Broad Street then right onto Cassety St. Park just past the bridge, on the right."
