"There are 10 playgrounds located throughout the City which open the last week in June until the last week in August.
Each playground staffs a male and female director to organize games, crafts, and play board games. Special activities:
Track meet
Free throw contest
Coloring contest
Trips to city pools
Mr. and Miss America contest
Chess/checker/backgammon tournament
Zoo and Park Trips"
