Summary
According to its website, “the Utica College Library is a private institution whose primary purpose is to serve its students, faculty and staff. The library is part of the Utica College Campus Opened in September 1969, the 67,000 square foot, air-conditioned, 3-story building has stack capacity of 190,000 volumes. It was named in honor of the benefactor Frank E. Gannett, founder of the Gannett media corporation.
In the 2006 the Library added 5 enclosed study spaces on the first floor. The well-equipped rooms are can be reserved for group study.
While UC Library's primary purpose is to serve our students, faculty and staff, we welcome a variety of other visitors to use our facilities:
