The agency mission statement does not specifically mention people with disabilities, but it does say "all citizens have a right to an outstanding quality of life".

Four Scenic Hudson staff members have attended New York State's Inclusive Recreation Resource Center's Inclusion U training. Of those staff members, two have also attended the "Nature Access" training @ Mohonk Preserve in conjunction with the Resource Center for Assisted Living out of Kingston.

The agency will try to add person first language to their website and informational resources related to upcoming events. The agency website is being re-designed and may be more accessible with consistent navigation, etc. once the new design is launched.
